The Custodial Team Leader is responsible for directing the daily work activities of the custodial staff performing a variety of custodial duties that are  necessary to keep an office building clean, orderly, in good condition, and  maintained cost-effectively.  Orient and train new and/or existing Facility Custodians. Establish work schedules. In cases of absence/emergencies assure adequate staff coverage to  complete all scheduled tasks. Conducts inventory of supplies/materials/equipment  and submit purchase requisition for replenishment as required. Assist Facility Custodians with cleaning tasks. Plan and direct special projects. Control and adhere to pre-established operating budget. Conduct client satisfaction  follow-ups in addition to client cleaning related issue resolution.  The Facility Custodian Team Leader work is performed indoors at various times during the afternoon and evening. Typical work shift can begin at 2 oíclock in the afternoon and work until 11 oíclock at night from Monday to Friday. There will also be special projects requiring some weekend work by the supervisor. The  Facility Custodian Team Leader must have dependable transportation to travel  between various client worksites. Climb stairs. Walk/Stand/Stoop/Bend. Lift up to 50 pounds, as required.  This position has the authority to make the decisions associated with the  efficient and expedient execution of cleaning activities consistent with the clientís requirements, the operating budget, and achievement of company, client,  and team goals.

Qualifications:

5 years, or more, years of experience in commercial facility cleaning with at  least 3 years in a supervisory role. Ability to operate and train others on the  use of cleaning equipment/products. Valid drivers license. Ability to conform to established schedules. Ability to understand and follow instructions precisely. Identify & aid in resolving problems. Attention to  detail. Cooperative attitude, Strong written/oral communications skills, Initiative, Dependability, Responsive, Integrity/honesty, Sensitive to othersí needs. Skills to develop and maintain strong work teams. Ability to work with little supervision and effectively supervises his/her assigned Facility Custodians.  Quality of Work, Quantity of work, Results Achieved, Reduce Costs/Add Value, Flexibility, Time Utilization, Functions effectively in a Team.
